Interview #1

Our first interview is an interview with Marie Salamone, an English teacher from Hollis Brookline High School who is experienced in teaching about rhetorical styles and analysis. Her interview was conducted via email, and we have linked her typed responses to our questions below. Though she does not claim to be a policy expert, she showed keen knowledge about both New Hampshire and federal abortion laws and restrictions. She is a pro-choice woman, but one could possible describe her as "pro-choice, not pro-abortion," as she personally finds the practice unethical. Interview #2

Our second interview is a recording of an in-person interview conducted with Hollis Representative Carolyn Gargasz. Representative Gargasz, a Republican, would also define herself as "pro-choice, not pro-abortion." She has been a representative in the New Hampshire House for sixteen years, and spent a lot of time on the Children and Family Law committee, though she doesn't seem to think that time had much of an influence on her opinions on abortion. Listen to the interview with Representative Gargasz, who had special insight on legislative proceedings relating to abortion bills, for an in-depth look at how she is representing us in Concord!
