Our Mission

This website, while affiliated with pro-choice views and beliefs, offers information and perspectives from both the pro-life and pro-choice sides of the debate on abortion. We aim to focus on the debate as a whole, with a particular emphasis on the rhetoric used in public discussion and advocacy on the subject.

New Hampshire Statutes

Title XXX, Chapter 329

[329:33] or HB1679

This Act is referred to as the "Partial-Birth Abortion Ban," as it criminalizes any deliberate abortion in which the fetus has been partially delivered. This statute criminalizes performing the act of the abortion, not having the abortion; therefore, only the medical professional performing the partial-birth abortion would be in violation of this law, and not the woman it were to be performed on.

Title X, Chapter 132

[132:33] or HB329

Effective as of January 2012, this bill requires the parents of any minor be notified before the minor undergoes an abortion. This bill specifies notification, not approval, of the procedure. There is an additional statute [132:34] specifying the requirements to waiver the required notification, including medical emergencies or court appeal.
